On The Move

Well it's Tuesday and I am talking about Monday. How crazy is that? It seems like I am always a day behind. Some days I just can not find enough time to blog. I hold my baby a lot so most of the time I have to wait till Jamie comes homes. Then sometimes I don't get on here till late and well we all know how she has been sleeping lately.
When we got up, I fed her breakfast and started on some laundry. We napped and headed to the pool! We had a big moment yesterday!! I was cleaning and I could here her talking so I come in the living room to see what she was doing.......She was trying to reach her toy basket......I gave her a toy, thinking that would do the trick, later I heard her again, so I went back to check on her and she had scooted all the way to her toy basket and pulled it on top of her......she was just going through her toys like such a big girl! Later that night, my aunt was having a Pampered Chef Party at our church. I could not wait to see what they were going to be cooking! They always have the best recipes. We had some some yummy bbq chicken on french bread with cream cheese spread. I will have to find the recipe so that I can share it with you! This below was so good, jalapeno popper pizza. I could have ate a ton of these. I will post the recipe at the bottom! Be sure to try them!
Who loves chocolate?? I think all ladies do except for me. I can eat but I defiantly do not crave it! I was the only one that did not eat all of it!
Look at Natalie......She is loving it!
The Pampered Chef
Jalapeno Popper Pizzas
1 pkg refrigerated thin crust pizza crust
4 slices of bacon ( I am going to use bacon bits)
1 small red bell pepper (about 1/2 cup finely diced)
2 jalapeno peppers
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 cup corn chips, crushed ( about 1/2 cup crushed chips)
1. Preheat oven to 425. Place dough on to cutting board (do not unroll). Using a sawing motion, slice dough into 24 disks using a knife. Place disk onto a cookie sheet, press to flatten and seal seems. Back 11 -13 mins or until golden brown.
2. Meanwhile, slice bacon into 1/4in pieces; cook in saute pan over medium-high heat 8-10 min. or until crisp. Remove bacon from pan , drain on paper towels. Drain pan, leaving 1 tsp dripping in pan. Finely dice bell pepper . Chop jalapenos using a food chopper. Add bell pepper and jalapenos to pan; cook over medium heat 2-3 mins or until tender.
3. Combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, peppers and bacon in bowl and mix well. Divide cream cheese mixture evenly over crusts. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and crushed chips. Bake 4-6 min or until cheese is melted and crusts are golden brown..

7 Months Today

I can not believe that Sophie Clare is 7 months old today! It seems like only yesterday that I they told me I was having a little girl! That was one of the greatest days! I know I said 1000 times to Jamie " guess what" and he would say "what" I said " we are having a girl" Just ask him I drove it in the ground! She is such a blessing and I thank God every day for her! She has grown way to fast and changed in many ways the past 2 months.
She went from sleeping all night to not! That is ok, I am making it just fine!
She is so busy. She loves to try and get the phone or the remote! She loves her popsicles. She has cut her 1st tooth and I do believe that it will not be long till we have another. How crazy is this?? When she turned 6 months, she got her 1st cold and today she got another. I hope this is not a pattern. I can not stand a runny nose! She can blow the greatest bubbles and click her tongue. I love it now that she reaches, it is the best! I could write forever about her! She is my life!
Yesterday we went to my mom and dad's because Jamie wanted a nap and I wanted to take some pictures. My daddy asked did Jamie get up with Sophie Clare the night before....that would be a big negative. I know he would if she would let him. She only wants mom in the middle of the night! Anyways, Sophie Clare was pretty sleepy in the pics so they are not real smiley but I think we got some really cute ones!!
Happy 7 Months

I hope you all have a great week!

Friday Fun on Sunday

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you all had a great service in Church. Our pastor was not there today to we had a guest. Sophie Clare was my wild woman. She is everywhere......when she becomes mobile, she is going to keep me running! She thinks that everyone should be talking to her.
We started out Friday morning early and headed to Gadsden and when I say early we were there my 8:15, my cousin Johnna was having a yard sale with the beauty shop she works at. Of course we headed down. I did not find anything except for one of those big huge blow up bouncy things like you rent...............called my dad and he come over and got a great deal on it!
Then we headed home, our friends Jennifer, Maddie and Cole were coming over to swim.
We had the best time talking and hanging out. I did not take near as many pics as I usually do.

I know you will be surprised to hear that I was in the need of WINGS, pretty sure it was going on 2 weeks since I had any. So we left Sophie Clare at my mom and dads and headed to Gadsden. They were so yummy and we got to eat outside. I love to sit out there and watch the people go by. Then Jamie remembered that a guy he used to work with was going to be playing at the Grind. It is a coffee shop on Court Street. So we went to listen to Lee and Ted, they did a really great job. That was the 1st time they had played together in about 2 months. I did not get a dessert but OH you should have seen them. They looked so yummy. Next time not near as many wings so that I will not be so full. Better yet, I should eat dessert 1st.

This is Justin and Kisa. Justin works with Jamie, so we called them up to see if they wanted to meet us. Although when they arrived we could not stay long because we had to get back to Sophie Clare.

Thanks guys for coming out!

Saturday we got up and went to some yard sales so be sure to check back tomorrow for the great deals we found.

Show Us Where You Live Friday - Master Bedroom

It is another week of Show Us Where You Live Friday over at Kelly's Korner. This week we are showing master bedrooms. Be sure to go over to Kelly's and check out all of the other bedrooms.
Well for starters, if this is your first time to visit my blog.......this is my sweet Sophie Clare. This is a couple of Sunday ago. She loves to sit on the our bed while we get ready. I usually give her some jewelry to play with and she is so content.
This little piece was found at a thrift store for only $20.00. It was not black when I lucked up on it. It was a nice shade of blue and I of course painted it black. I love the legs on it.....it is somewhat of a heavy piece but the legs make it airy. The apothecary jar come from none other....TJ MAXX for only $5.00!! What a bargain?? The silhouette you see there is of my niece Emily. I can not wait to get one of all the girls. It was funny my mom did one of Emily a while back and it turned out so cute and she did one of Sophie Clare and bless her heart she look like a little boy. So the moral of the story here is......they need a little hair.
I have had this bed for about 11 years. It is old antique cast iron. My dad found it for me and it was only $75.00. I think that is a pretty good deal. I am not the kind of girl that loves matchy matchy.......comforter, shams, window treatment, bed skirt, ect. I love to change it for Fall and Summer.......A fresh new look. I usually get most of the bedding at......you guessed it TJ MAXX.
I have always want one of these. I really wanted Jammie to make me one but we never went and got the stuff. I am sure glad we did not. I found this last August and the Longest Yard Sale for a whole $1.00 and I love it.
I love Pottery Barn and love to get there catalogs. Have any of you checked the prices on these books. I found all of these at Ross's, Marshall and TJ Maxx. I believe the most expensive one was $7.00
I can not even believe that I am putting this on here and neither can Jamie. He hates all of the shoes. Sometimes when we are out and about I will say I "NEED" a new pair of shoes and he laughs. I was getting ready the other night and needed some black sandals to go with the outfit, I looked and looked........I found a CUTE pair of wedges that I had never ever worn. I wish I had a room I could hang on to all my clothes and never let them go.
I hope you enjoyed the master bedroom, be sure to check back next week for Show Us Where You Live.
Have a great day.

Wonderful Wednesday

Hello All! I hope you all are having a wonderful week! I am having a great one, just a little tired. My sweet Sophie Clare is still not sleeping good. She just cut her very 1st tooth. So maybe it will get better soon. It is all so worth it!! There is not a lot going on this week and I am not complaining. We got up this morning and stayed in our pj's most of the day. Then we got ready and headed to one of our favorite outings, WAL-MART........I used dislike that place so much. Now that I am at home all the time it so fun to go and run into people! I ran into my friend April. Bless her heart her sweet baby is not sleeping good either. Anyways to catch you up on the past few days. I worked yesterday and on Monday we hung out at the pool. What will we do the rest of the week........it is kind of nice not having anywhere to go!!
Do you not just love this outfit. I found it at TJ Maxx. I so wished they would have had in a 12 month. She needed it for Fall and Winter.......So since it is to HOT to wear it out and about. We are sleeping in it! I know what some of you may be thinking and no she does not sleep in bows. HEHE
Let's talk tummy time!! This sweet angel in on her tummy more that she is on her bottom. I sit her down to run do something and I come back and never fails.........she is on her tummy. A lot of the time she is on her hands and needs, rocking. I wonder how long it will before she is into everything. She is so busy, always reaching for something. The other day at my moms she would go reach back and forth between us. She is a mess.

Here we are Monday at the pool.

Cousin Braden came for a swim. Sunscreen is very important, even in the hair. I love his do. His mommy does hair but I promise she will not do this to yours!!
Cousins in the crabby floats!

Have a blessed week!

A Very Special Father's Day

Yesterday was a special day for Jamie although it was a little bitter sweet. Jamie's first Father's Day which he was so happy about and the 1st Father's day without his dad. I hated it for him so bad but all in all I do believe he had a very special day. Sophie Clare got him a new pair of sun shades and a sweet card. We got up and got ready for church. I really hate that I did not get a picture of him and Sophie Clare all dressed up. After church Jamie and I went to pick up lunch at Pizza Hut. I love there crust, it is the best ever. We took it to my mom and dad's where we met the rest of the family. We have the best time.
After lunch we all decided to head to the pool. Emily is a water bug this year.....excuse me she is a mermaid. Look at her go.
Sophie Clare loves her Aunt Angie!
I am so blessed to have a daughter that loves the water. She had rather be splashing around in your arms than in her shaded float.
Great picture Angie!!

Gracie was not crazy about getting in the water but it may have been because she was all tuckered out!

Then Sophie Clare needed a break. She fell asleep with her head up, pop had to lay her back.

Then Gracie got up and Gran put her some water in the tub and she loved it!
She is such a doll baby! I could just kiss and kiss her!

I hope you all had a very special Father's Day! I have a great daddy that will do anything in the world for you and who works super hard!
I love you!
