Fertilizer Friday

I am always checking out to see what my blogger friend "Dirt Princess" has to show on Friday .Considering how much I love blog parties, I thought that it would be fun to join in on Fertilizer Friday over at tootsie time. Be sure to go over and check it out!!

These flowers are not from my garden they are from my mother's. She has the greenest thumb ever. Her back yard has always looked like a Southern Living Garden. It is a great place to take Sophie Clare's pictures!!

This one is from my friend Leslie's house.

Be sure to check back next Friday, I will have much more to share!!
Have a happy Friday!

Wedding Party and Lots of Flowers

It is Show Us Your Life over at Kelly's Korner. I 'll just say I have had so much fun doing these.....I will say I am going to take a break this week and I just can't. I am hooked!!
I am going to show you a couple of different wedding that are special to me.
The 1st one is my wedding party. Oh if I could only go back 12 years, I would change so much. My girls carried daisy and I carried pink and white rose which I still have! The 2 arrangements in the front were done by my mother. She is so talented!!

On to the other weddings that just took place 2 years ago. This Natalie with her girls minus a couple. Her mother-in-law made the dresses and she made Sophie Clare's bumper pads.

The flowers in Natalie's wedding have so much heart and soul in them. My mom, aunt and Natalie went and picked them out and ordered the wholesale. When they arrived you would not believe how many there were. It look just like a florist. Here is the bridesmaid bouquet.

Natalie made all the bouquets and boutonnieres.

My mom made this huge arrangement to go in the baptistry. It took Zac and Jamie to carry it up.

Here my mom is, she kept us all in line of the arrangements. It was a family that pulled together to make a little girls dream come true.

My mom made this topiary, is it not beautiful!! She did a fabulous job!!

We all helped with the table arrangements.

On to the next wedding.......Ben and Johnna. Again the flowers were ordered wholesale and we all pitched in!
My mom made all of the arrangements!

Natalie made the these bouquets too.

Well there you have 3 different weddings. I once thought we should go into business but now that I look back I see who would be doing all of the work, my mom and Natalie.
I can not wait to see yours!

A Morning With Friends

Sophie Clare and I had the best time with some very good friends. I have known these girls since 1st grade. We have had so much fun over the years. We have so many stories we could tell. Leslie was so sweet to host our play date! We were suppose to be there around 9:30. I did not
get up till 8:30 and I had to get us ready and everything together. The goal was for the kiddos to go swimming. Considering it was cloudy and Sophie Clare is only 8 months old, I did not think that she would notice if we did not go swimming. When we got there, we were met by at the door my Sophie Clare's fan club. (Kailey and Kenedi) Leslie and her husband added onto there house and built a pool and let me just say it was beautiful!! I just loved it!! There bathroom was one of my faves.
Here we all are except for Kailey, she was a great photographer.

When it was time for the children to go swimming, me and Sophie Clare went and sat close to the pool. That little girl crawl right to the edge ( I was right there with her) I dipped her little feet in and she was so excited. I took her clothes off except for her diaper and let her play at the water table. She stood there forever and just splashed.

This is Landon, he is Denita's little boy and he is such a cutie!!

Kailey, Maddie and Skylie........Kailey belongs to Leslie......Skylie is Jennifer's niece and Maddie is of course Jen's

Sweet Cole

Kenedi and Baby Sophie Clare
They all wanted to hold her.......Kenedi was so funny, we ordered pizza for lunch and Kenedi wanted Baby Sophie Clare to sit in her baby high chair.

Kailey, Baby Sophie Clare and Kenedi........they could not get enough of her.
Kenedi always ask where Sophie Clare's daddy is and I always tell her......he is bringing home the bacon. hehe

Let me just say that the adults are not taking these pictures. The girls did a great job with my camera.

8 Months, I Can Not Believe It

I can not even believe that I have had this precious baby girl for 8 months. She is such a blessing. She is come so far since her debut into the world. When she came into the world 5 weeks early, she only weighed 4 pounds and 13 ounces. Now she weighs about 17 lbs. She is still so little and I love it. So let's see what she can do so far................
-She has 2 teeth.......1 you can barely see.
-She can pull up
-She can light up a room with her smile
-She had rather have her bottle than food and that is ok by me.
-She is not sleeping through the night but some nights are better than others.
-She loves her daddy but had rather be in my arms looking at him.
-She can make a mess in a min.
-She hates when I walk out of the room, she is either grunting for me to come back or looking for me.
-She can crawl but does not have much of a desire to.
-She loves the water and would splash forever.

We are working on mama and patty cake!! Maybe soon!!

A Quiet Tuesday

It's Monday

It is Monday again, seems like Mondays roll around more than any other day. Why is that?? Maybe it is because we look so forward to the weekend and then it flies by. It has been a good day. Sophie Clare slept better than she has in quiet sometime. She went to bed around 9, woke up at 1:30 and went right back to sleep, back up at 6, tight back to sleep then slept till 7:30. That is a great night. I can do that every night and not be tired at all! It will soon work itself out. When we got up, I needed to do laundry. Oh the joys of Mondays! While I did laundry, Sophie Clare was practicing her crawling skills. I am going to have to check all corners and cracks. We of course had to get ready and head to the lovely Wal-Mart. We have to give them way to much money. We always run into someone we know and today was Sophie Clare's fan club.......My friend, Leslie's little girls. They are just so cute. We have a play date planned for this week and I know Sophie Clare is going to have a blast. Then it was off to Albertville, we decided to go by and see the girls at the office. She was not here usual smiley self because she was a little sleepy but she always enjoys the visit. She gets tons of love from them! Thanks girls for lunch, it was just what I needed!
When we got home we cleaned and cleaned some more and we are still not through. We have tons of fresh veggies, so that is what I will be cooking all week.....YUMMY! We have revival this week and Michael Mason is awesome!!

I hope you all have a great week!!

It's Treasure Time

Hello Everyone!! It is Thrifty Treasure time at Rhoda's! I absolutely love this blog party! It is so much fun to see what everyone finds!

I did not do a whole lot of thrifty shopping this weekend. We decided not to go on yard sales Saturday.....sometimes you need to take a week off. Jamie and I did hit a thrift store in Birmingham........I could not go all weekend without finding some kind of deal! hehe
I found these copper canisters a while back at a thrift store......I just love copper. They were $5.00 for all three!

I found this at Hobby Lobby for $2.00 and I just had to bring him home. He looks great in my kitchen!

My greatest find of all or at least I think so. I have a weakness for shoes and some of you know. I have never bought shoes at a thrift store but I was not in the mood to dig for clothes so I drifted toward the shoes and I am so glad I did. I love these!! I am going back to dig some more!! I can get a ton for this price!! $5.00!! I know Jamie is so excited and is wondering where I am going to put all of them!!

Jamie found some great t-shirts!! You can not be $1.99!!

I can not wait to see what you all found!!
