Noccalula Falls

Sunday morning when I woke up and saw the sun shining...........
I was just so happy!
W
e had a very good service Sunday, it was not my Sunday to teach so I stayed in the nursery with Sophie Clare. Angie ended up getting Sophie Clare to sleep, which was a good thing. She needs a nap every Sunday morning before preaching. After church we headed dto Pasquales to eat. They have cheap pizza but it is good. When we left there I asked Jamie what he was going to do this afternoon.........
I always ask him to see if he is going to say "take a nap"
He suprised me and said, I am going to take my girls to Noccalula Falls. I was so excited, I have been wanting ot go for a while but it has been so hot and not to mention the rain. I took lots of pictures and I know you are suprised.
Right when you come in, there was beautiful Fall scene. She had just woke up and was not going to smile.

They have a great petting zoo!

I wanted to sit Sophie Clare beside the deer but she just cry when I got her to close.

Here we are, looking at the pigeons

My little pig, is she not cute??

We had such a good time. I can not wait to go back.
Be sure to check back on Wednesday , I'll be joining Outdoor Wednesday with all of the animal pictures.

Roll Tide Roll

Hello to you all!
Let me start with Friday night. Angie and I started off at Struts around 4:30, when we go eat we like to hang out for quite sometime. Needless to say we were a little rushed this time. We were no where ready to go at all and the lady just brought us our ticket. So we paid and headed to another play so that we could sit and talk. We headed over to Jeffersons. We ordered Chris and Jamie some wings and loved the service!!

The Tide Rolled in with a win against Arkansas.
35-7
Jamie worked on the room till the game. We got some yummy ribs from a local spot. (Dale's BBQ). Sophie Clare enjoyed cheering on her team.
Uh-Oh Eyes were closed........
Uh-Oh now mine are............

Touch Down Alabama!!

Fishy face

That about wraps it up!
Have a great night!!

A Whole Lot Of Nothing

Hello Everyone!!

We are just going to play catch up. There is not to much to talk about, you might say that it has been a little boring. It has rained and rained, so we have not got to hit any YS. We really have not even hit the TS, I am sad to say. Maybe next week I will have some new treasures!!

Night before last, Sophie Clare woke up as usual......I got her, we made our way to the couch. Usually she is a little restless but never does she cry........she did this night!! When we got up I called the dr, I was afraid that it was a ear infection. She kept pulling at her right ear. They told us to be there before 11.........I signed in at 10:08 and did not get back into the car till 1:10. 3 HOURS, to find out that Sophie Clare's ear are perfect, YAY!! Although her little throat was a little red but it was nothing. Thank you Lord!! We talked about her sleeping..........how she is restless and wakes up a lot. Guess what she told me......she does not know how get herself to sleep and I am going to have to let her cry. I already knew this but it took the dr to tell me!! Oh how I dread it!! I am going to start it next week when I know for sure her throat is 100% better. Please pray for me, I am going to need it. I am just a softy when it comes to her crying.
What went on today??
Well I woke up with sinus trouble. Blah! I can not stand not being able to breath, it drives me crazy. My head feels like a balloon. Needless to say, we stayed at home today. She took 3 naps today and no not in her bed so I got a lot of rest today.

We broke out the leggings today. Considering it is Fall, we have to dress it.

She is a good baby everyday but she was especially good today. I think she knew her mommy did not feel good.

She can sit and go through this box of jewelry forever. And thats what I let her do while I laid and watched her.

Well that is all, kind of boring. I will get to something interesting really soon!! I promise!!

Now to leave you with just a couple of pictures.

Aunt Angie, I love my passies. They are great teethers! I love to crawl around with them in my mouth and don't get confused, I am biting on them not sucking on them!!

Oh how I love to help my mommy at the computer. Thanks mommy for letting me sit on the printer while you eat breakfast and check the social networking sites. I just need to be beside you at all times!

Happy Fall Ya'll

Today is the very first day of Fall.
I love Fall!
We just had to get out of the house today even if was a little rainy this morning. We headed to Boaz first. We had to go and pick out floors for Sophie Clare's room. What I wanted had been discontinued but I did find something that was close. After that we headed to a local boutique to pick up Sophie Clare Fall shirt. Then we made our way to Albertville to the drug store. I so was not ready to come back home so we headed to Gadsden. I had not been to Hobby Lobby in a while! I needed a fix. I got some really cute pendants to make me some earrings and a cute metal pumpkin. We also went to the mall to walk look for some pjs. We found a couple of really cute ones!! YAY! When we got home I just had to try on Sophie Clare's new outfit.
I just loved it!!
For the past years, everyone had always talked about carrying there children to the pumpkin patch and I have always dreamed of the day I could take my child. Now I am blessed to have a little girl to take. I can not wait!!
I hope you all had a wonderful day!!

Daytime Alabama, it is out of Birmingham and they always take you to different spots.............gardening, cooking, fashion, ect. I just love it! Be sure to check out there website!! The girl that usually host it is on maternity leave, her name is Brooke Smith. Some of you may remember her from the Bacherlette, a few years ago. Moving Right Along

It is Saturday night and it has been rainy ALL day!! Sophie Clare and I ended up on the couch( of course) and she slept pretty good. She reminds me so much of Natalie when she sleeps. When Natalie was little, she was all over the bed. You would lay her down straight and she would end up side ways. Some how Sophie Clare ended up with her feet at my face. We were going to head out to YS this morning but considering it rained all night long, we stayed in. Jamie had got A LOT done yesterday and even more today.

SOPHIE CLARE IS SHOWING SOME ROLL TIDE LOVE!!
Since she wore her cheerleader outfit last week I got a onsie that my mom had painted for her this week! She looks so cute in it! Thanks mom!!
Jamie and dad finished hanging up the sheet rock!! Sophie Clare thought Pop was there to hold her and not work.
Here she is making her way up the sheet rock. She was trying to get to her Pop!

Here she is trying to help them work. She is going to love her new addition.

Just look at her, she is wanting to be right in the middle.

Finally, all the sheet rock is hung. The hardest is behind him and I know he is thankful. I am so lucky to have such a hard working man and a talented man!! He has done such a great job, his dad would be so proud!!

This week he will be finishing it!! WHAAWHOOO!!!
I hope you all are having a great weekend.

Thrifty Thursday

Welcome to Thrifty Thursday! Thank you so much for stopping by! I want you to be sure and head over to Tales From Bloggeritaville with Leigh our gracious host!

I have been thrifting every week. We head out to the sales on Saturday and usually hit the local GW at least once a week. I will have to say that I have not had very good luck in the deco items. I am getting very picky and I do not buy it just because it is a good deal. There is just no where to put it!! I have to be on the look out for something I need. I have had really good luck in the baby department though!! I always have room for that!!!
Anyways on to my finds. My quail birds......I just LOVE them. I found one of the babies at the TS for .79 cents and the other two at the SA for $1.00 a piece. Now I have a family!!

I lucked up on the trivets at the GW for $$1.00.

I can not wait to see what you have found!
HAPPY THRIFTING!!
