What We do

Hey, Hey, Hey!!!
It feels like I have not blogged in a while but trying to fit it in on the weekends..............it is just hard.
I hope you all had a great weekend. We did not do much, just mainly worked in the yard and played in the pool.  I did not take any pics all weekend...........what is wrong with me??
I do have a few to share with you.
Sophie Clare loves to be wrapped (swaddled) like a baby. It is the sweetest thing. She does not take a passy but I will wrap her, give her a passy and she takes it.  She is pretending to cry.
Ejoying her ice....
Bottle time......I do not let her walk around with a bottle, it is only for when she is going to sleep. This particular day, I was getting something out of the refridgerator......she grabbed it and ran. She was so cute, I just had get a pic.
She has a mind all on her on. We had to take a "911" bath. That means, she got choked and threw up.
When we were gettingher clothes on, I opened up the drawer got her something to wear. She starts grunting and pointing. I told her to get what she wanted....She picked out last years VBS  t-shirt and all of the sudden did not want to leave her bow in.  She was having such a good time in her tent.
Have a great week and stay cool!!

My Big Girl Bed

Hey Ya'll!
Is it hot or what??
Sophie Clare and I have been joined together .........well since I found out that I was going to have her. When she finally came home from the hospital, she slept in her moses basket. Then she moved to the swing when I was not holding her. Then she would sleep on my chest when she decided that the swing was not for her. Her baby bed...........well I tried "some" she just did not like it very much. She did get where she would sleep in it for a while but then the sheet rock dust came and I said, "I'll just sleep with her on the couch" well we never got off the couch. I did try a few times to get her back in her bed but every time I laid her down in it......SHE WOKE UP. She slept better on the couch by herself than her bed.  Needless to say we were getting too big for the couch. She and I both needed more room. It was time to take the "baby" bed down and put up the "BIG" girl bed.  She has loved it from the beginning.  Do I sleep with her, YES I DO. I don't think I have to........I just love being with her every second. Although it is nice to be able to lay her down and get a snack, brush my teeth, ect. lol
I wanted to get some really cute pictures of her just sitting on her bed.
I did get some cute pitures but not of her sitting.
Have a great day!!

Celebrate Good Times,

Come on!
There's party going on right here!
A celebration to last through out the year.
So bring your good times and your laughter too.

Emily turned  5 years old Wednesday  and we celebrated Saturday night at a local (very clean) bouncy place. Family and friends all came to bounce the night away. hehe
Angie, what a cute cake.......I just LOVED it!!
I was not to sure how Sophie Clare would enjoy all of the bouncy stuff.  She LOVED the slide. Gracie has been to the bouncy place several times.  She was just like one of the older girls running around.

Braden really ejoyed himself. He rolled and tumbled around, just like a little boy should!
Sophie Clare had to take a break to look at her animal book with Pop.
Baby Kate....sweet as ever!
This bouncy thing was so cute. It was just like a farm.....it a slide, fence, horse, chicken, ect. I wish I had taken a pic of the whole thing.  The kids loved it.
Then the moon bounce.....At first Sophie Clare was not sure.........
She warmed up really fast.

It was hard to get a picture of Emily. She was on the "run" the whole time. When I would get the chance, she would not even look.

Cake and present time!!
Gracie was ready for her juice.
I was feeding Sophie Clare and Gracie at one point and thought...this is what it would be like to have twins.

Emily is going to be starting ballet this Fall  and I wanted to get her a bag. I thought it turned out so cute.
I think she was prettu excited about the elephant game Sophie Clare got her.
I hope Emily had the best birthday!!
We love you!!

VBS

NEED ANSWERS??
ASK GOD!
That was our VBS motto for Saddle Ridge Ranch.
Last Saturday on the 12th, VBS kicked off and ran through Wednesday. It was a good week but I was ready for Wednesday.  VBS was 2 1/2 hrs long...............that is a long time for an 18 month old. It was my goal for Sophie Clare to have a good late nap everyday. She did really good and had a very good time with her teachers (Aunt Angie and Johnna)
I did not even get a picture of our stage but it was decorated really cute and had a great background to take some pictures for a frame we made.
We talk about Adam and Eve, How God took care of Joseph, Zacchaeus, Jesus feeding 5000, Paul's letter.
We made all kinds of stuff, listen to bible stories, painted, colored, played outside and sang songs.
Here are a some pics from the week!!
Our Pastor, Jeff............entertaining the kiddos.

Well that's all for VBS!!
