Rainbow Row

Good Evening All!!
Tonight was our last night of revival and what a blessing it was to have Rhyme and Reason with us at Carlisle Baptist Church. Although our crowd was not the greatest.........come on memebers...
Where were you??
I enjoyed it so much.  The music and the preaching were wonderful!!

Today we ran to Hobby Lobby for a minute and then it was off to Wal-Mart.  Sophie Clare has always been a great shopper but here lately she is harder to entertain. What is up with that?? I hope this is just a phase. Anyways, we came home....she napped and we went to my grandmothers for a visit. Then it was off to church. That pretty much sums it up.

Do you ever just enjoy riding around??
I do and always have!!
I love to look at house, landscapes, old buildings ect.
In Southside, there is a neat little place where all the houses are different colors. When I say different, I mean BRIGHT!!  I love it and would love to have a house there just for the Summer. I just wanted to share with you a few photos I took from my car window the other  day when Sophie Clare and I were killing some time!
ENJOY!!
I hope you all have a great rest of the week!!

It's Story Time

Good Evening!!
What a busy week this is........we are having revival and it is going great.  The music and preaching have been a blessing.
This morning we got up and headed to our 2nd story time at the library.  My friend Jennifer met us there with Cole and Madalyn. Sophie Clare was a little shy at first but warmed up quickly.
Cole is getting so big. I can not believe he will be 2 next month.
I think Luke is a social butterfly and just so cute!!
The other little boy is Patrick and he is such a doll. He is so funny, he goes and looks in every ones bags to check out there snacks. hahaha!!
Sophie Clare finally walked over to see Madalyn and got in her lap. She laid her head on her shoulder and stayed that way for a while. Madalyn is so good with her, she just patted her back.
SO SWEET!!
Last week, Luke chased Sophie Clare.......
This week, Luke was tickling her.
We sang a song about a turtle, read a book about a turtle and made a turtle.
Great Job, Madalyn!!
We sat down to make a turtle and I ended up finishing it.
I have already hung our artwork on the refrigerator.
Luke working on his turtle.

We are ready for next week!!

Mommy's Special Helper

This sweet little girl, I just can not get enough of her.
I truly watch her every move.
It's not because I am afraid of what might happen to her but afraid I'll miss a great moment.
I bought her a Gigi's, God's little princess set a while back. I had not planned on giving it to her but Saturday night, I thought she might enjoy it.
Considering how she LOVES shoes, Sophie Clare was all about them. They were big but she did not care. At first she was not wild about the tutu but it grew on her quickly.
She looks so stinking cute!!!

After we played, I needed to put a few towels aways. I set them on the edge of the tub and she started getting them and putting them up. She is all about helping me these days. She loves to carry stuff to the garbage can. I am bad about sweeping the floors and sweeping it to the corner. She will come get me, so me the trash and want me to get it up.  It's so cute!!
She is doing a very good job as you can see. haha
Just making sure it's all in order.
All done!!

Eating Out

Eating out with Sophie Clare is always an experience.
Saturday night I called my parent to see if they wanted to go out to eat with us. They came and got us and we went to a little Italian resturaunt  (Pas'ghettis) in Gadsden. They have The Best Salad ever!!  We got there and walked right in. I have not made Sophie Clare sit in a high chair in a while. She always just seems to better in a chair or booth. She was sitting in between Gran and Pop, all of the sudden she spotted stairs. She could not get them off of her mind. We tried everything. The only thing that kept her attention was tossing the salad. We got all of our food so quick. She was not interested in eating anything. I held her while my mom ate and then she took her to walk around for a min. That did not last long at all so I put mine in a to go box and we went to the closest store to walk around while Jamie and my dad finished eating.
When we got home, she had plans to go home with Gran and Pop. She went for just a bit and they brought her home on the 4-wheeler. I am thankful we live so close. When she got home and Gran and Pop left........
This girl was ready to eat. I could not believe how much lasagna she ate.
 Noodles and the meat.
I pulled her hair back so that it would not fall into her face. All of the sudden she has a habit of pulling on the front of it and biting it. It drives me crazy!!
Say cheese Sophie Clare....
EEEESSSE!!
She is so into music and dancing. Jamie was on the computer, I was sitting with her and Hairspray was on in the background. She heard it and started dancing. It was so cute!!

I hope my mom and dad with go eat with us again!!
HAHA!!

Spring Valley Beach

Friday morning we got ready to head to Spring Valley Beach for the day. If you have not ever been or heard of it you need to check it out. It is in the middle of no where but a great place to go.  a few water slides and a huge pool with slides, stuff for the kids and just to lay and relax. They have pavilions that you can rent but we carried a tent, chairs, quilt, a few things for Sophie Clare to do just in case she got tired of the water. We also packed snacks, drinks and lunch.

I took more pictures than I thought and of course I could not just pick a couple so get ready as usual for picture over load.

This sweet baby was the best all day. She did not fuss or cry at all!! She was so cute, at first she was not sure how to walk in the water. I was holding her hand and just all the sudden she would be floating and I would be pulling her.
She walked up and down the edge of the pool a hundred and one times. She loves to fill things up with water and dump it out on the sidewalk,  in another cup or on you. So I carried her some cups, spray bottle and a few other things to fill with water. She had a blast.

She is so styling!!

How precious is she??
She is enjoying a mini pickle.
I will kiss her forever!!
I could not believe how much she wanted to stay in the water.
Here is the kiddo's play area, water spraying and slides.
Tons of fun.
She looks so pleased  and content!
Sweet girl waiting her turn to slide.
She wanted to stand and just jump. It took a lot of talking to remind her to sit down.
She did this over and over again. I never got tired of seeing how excited she was.

Enough of those baby slide, she was ready to do the big slide. This was not my idea, it was all hers. I just was not about to let her go by herself.
We are waving to dada!
Here we go........
What a huge splash of water in our face. I was not sure what she would think about it. When we got up she headed right back to go again!!

Telling dada bye. She was all about waking in the water.
We had the best day and I can not wait to take her back!!
She may not remember this day but it was very special to me!!
I love you Sophie Clare.
