Fall Festival

Today was the local elementry school's (Carlisle) Fall Festival.
Michelle, from church had mentioned it to me earlier in the week.
I was not sure that I was going to take Sophie Clare, her being so small.
Cassy wanted to go, so we met at the school. Sophie Clare was excited to see them.
She had the biggest grin on her face.
We ran into a couple of sweet girls. Katelyn and Aly......I only got a quick pic of J and A.

They had a huge double blow up slide. Sophie Clare was ready to get on it. She was having a little trouble getting up and this sweet boy was kind enough to help her up. Before I knew it.........they were coming down.  hehe

They had all kinds of games, face painting and hair coloring.
Sara and Sophie Clare

You might be wondering where Easton was in all of this. Well, he started out asleep then Michelle strolled him around while we played.

23 Months

My beautiful, sweet, loving and kind little baby girl is 23 months today.
In one month she will be 2!
It makes me a little sad because of  how fast she is growing up. I have held her from day 1 and I don't regret that at all. I would do it all over again
I love this sweet face. She is starting to make different faces when she looks at things and it is so cute. I have got to get some of them on camera.  Those eyes melt my heart and her lips........oh how I love when she puckers up for a kiss!!
She has the sweetest smile!

She is really starting to say a lot more. She is trying to repeat  a lot of what I say.
Her first words were mama but for some reason she never said it much. I guess she did not have to, I was always there. All of the sudden she is saying all the time. Just this morning she was following me......saying  mama mama mama!! The sweetest words ever. I can't imagine how it will feel when she says, I love you!!

She is really on a great schedule and I did not do it, she did this herself.  She takes 1 nap a day for about 2-3 hrs. A lot of the time she will nap most of it by herself.  She goes to bed anywhere between 8:45 - 9:30 and sleeps most of the night by herself.  I am still giving her a bottle to get her to sleep and that I have to work on SOON!! I just dread taking it away.

I love this picture.
I asked her if she would sit there and let me take her picture.
She did but she could not take her eyes off the cat.

She is a happy baby.  She loves to play babies and color
. I love that her imagination is growing!!

She loves to explore the great outdoors.
She is just happy walking around outside.

She has started runny a lot.
 Sometimes more than walking!

She has a love for animals.
She always wants to pet them.

We love you so very much!!

Sweet Help

This morning we ran to get my hair trimmed. Then we were off to Wal-Mart to get a few things we needed. Sophie Clare was such a doll baby. She stayed in the buggy the whole time.  When we got home, she wanted me to take the plastic of the soap so I did........not thinking anything about it. I went back to the kitchen and was putting up dishes.  She sure was being quite, so I listened for a minute..............I heard paper tearing.  I thought I would walk in and see one bar of soap opened. NO, NO, NO........all 8 bars opened.
She was so stinking cute.
I ran and got my camera to capture the moment.

I love her and the sweet ways she helps me!!

Goodwill Deals

I love FASHION!! I love a DEAL!! I love TARGET!!
All of that goes hand in hand at The local Goodwill!

A wonderful thing about Goodwill is that they get NEW TARGET CLOTHES!!

How great it that??
This Summer I was shopping at Target and saw a dress I liked and then went to Goodwill and FOUND it for $4.00.  So, I said that to let you know that it is SO NOT LAST YEAR.
Anyways. I love to check it weekly, you never know what you will find.
This week I am showing just one of several cardis I bought.
This one is by MERONA. It is a grape color with long sleeves. It has 2 flowers that are pinned on one side.
I got it for $4.00.
Necklace came from the Body Shop for $3.99.
Wow, just 1 penny shy of what I paid for the cardi.
Stay tuned in for the next great find!!

Dress Up Day

Yesterday was the Halloween Party at Story Time. All of the little ones could dress up in the costumes. It was fun dressing Sophie Clare up. She little like the sweetest strawberry, I had ever seen.  We invited Gran to come along with us and Sophie Clare sawa her, she was beyond excited.

Mr. Luke was the cutest cowboy.
Cowboys and Indians........round'em up.

She wore her hat for a while and then decided to take it off.

She wanted to march with Gran.

We had a very good time checking out all the other childrens costumes. I have already decided what Sophie Clare is going to be next year
Ragady Ann.

These wings were the coolest. I think all little boys need these. All you have to do is press a button and they come out.

Do you have big plans for HALLOWEEN??
If so, WHAT??

Bama & Friends

Who knew that a couple that we had been going to church with for a while would turn into a great friendship. It all started on a Friday night and has been growing ever since.  Sometimes it takes you a while to have that "at home " feeling with friends.........not with The Wehunt family. You would think we have been friends for a lifetime.
Anyways, onto Saturday night...............They came over to watch the game and we had crazy fun.
Sophie Clare wanted to hold Easton in her lap.
She loves him but does not want to share with him.
This picture just makes me smile and laugh out loud. She looks like she has him in a choke hold.
Now it was time to feed Easton some bite bites.

They are so great!!

Sweet Jaylin

Dustin at first is a lot like Jamie....a little quiet but not anymore.

Cassy and I are always talking "old school" when we text. One day we got to talking....."can't touch this"
Well needless to say I had to do the HAMMER!!
Dun na na na na!

Dancing at The Griffith house is a family affair!!

Easton got to get in on the action.

We also played a game called "Penny Can".
If you have ever watched Cougar Town...starring Courtney Cox,  you know what I am talking about.

Sophie Clare taking pictures with daddy's phone and calling our pastor, Jeff!! haha
Brother Jeff called us back to check in.
We all were so loud, he was not sure if we were having fun or in need of help. haha

We had a blast as usual!!

Fun At Gran & Pop's

Friday was such a wonderful day!! We woke up and got an early start. I wanted to hit Hobby Lobby, Goodwill, Wal-Mart and a couple of other stops.  Sophie Clare was so super good!! I have been having a little bit of trouble with her staying in her stroller. She either wants me to hold her or she wants to walk.  She got a new stuffed dog in Hobby Lobby because she was so good. We met my mom and our cousin for lunch at the Courtyard, and then it was off to the mall. We finally got home around 2 and she was in such a good mood (STILL). I unpacked the car and put things away.  She took a nap for around 2 hrs and woke up smiling.
Mom and dad were getting the girls (EMILY & GRACIE).
We went outside to get in the car and Sophie Clare decided she had rather walk.
She pushed her stoller with her new puppy in it.

Along the way we saw Braden for a min.

Sophie Clare never once wanted me to carry her. She walked all the way  and pushed her shopping cart.
To give you an idea of how far she walked .............my parents live about 1/4 of mile away. That is a long way for a little girl!!

When we got to gran and pops, the girls were so excited to see one another!   Emily thought she needed to hold Sophie Clare up to see the baby chicks.

Emily holding the baby chick for the very first time!!

I was camera happy of course and had Emily doing some posing.

And Gracie wanted to do it to!
She is such a doll baby!!

Emily wanted to rake some leaves, so we made her a big pile to jump in,

She is such a sweet girl!

We had a very good time playing!!
I can't wait to see them again, soon!!
