Easter Basket Fun

Sunday morning Jamie got up and headed to sunrise service. I hated that Sophie Clare and I did not get to go but she would have never made through church.  When Jamie got back, I was wide awake. We waited for Sophie Clare to wake up and have her milk before the Easter Bunny came.  Later that morning, I went to the living room and told her that I thought the Easter Bunny had left her a surprise on her bed. She ran to her room and was so excited to see her basket full of goodies!!

She got some crayons and paints for the bathtub.

M & M's and some flip flop which she calls popoos.

She took everything out one by one!
She looked at it with so much joy!

This is her being excited over all her goodies. She always clinches her fist and makes a tight face with her teeth. haha So stinking cute!!

I think her favorites were her ballet t-shirt, flip flops and coloring books!

It's Egg Hunting Time

This was the year for EGG HUNTING!!
Sophie Clare and I got out in the yard on Friday and had a few practice runs.  I wish that I had taken pics because she was so excited and loved finding eggs.
Saturday was our Egg Hunt at church. We got ready and Sophie Clare was pretty excited! haha  I had to end up waking her up so it took some encouraging to get her pumped up!

Finally this girl was ready to hunt for some eggs!

When we got to church we enjoyed a snack and Bro. Jeff told the Easter story.
Then it was off to hunt for eggs.
After she found a couple she thought she out to sit and rest. haha

Then she was back at it.

This is one of my favorite pictures!

Giving Thanks

Giving thanks and praising God that he had his hand on us once again. Seem like everytime a bad weather happens, it hits just a little closer to home. It makes me so thankful for the small things!!  We have been without cable, internet and phone so we have not got to watch a lot of news just yet. Today is the first day that we have had it. It seems so unimportant considering all of the tragedy going on around us. We never know when we may be the next.
I am just thanking God and I know that he is in control!!
Remember those that have lost loved ones, there homes and those without power!!

New Blog Friends

I think it is so much fun to meet fellow bloggers.  Last Summer, I met Jamie, Charlee Kate and her mom at Hobby Lobby in Gadsden.  We have only talked through blogging, e-mail, text and a little FB.  They have been living in Florida and I am excited to say they are moving back to BIRMINGHAM.  Which is only an hour away!! We both are so excited for our girls to play together! They have so much in common and we think they will hit it off!
We are looking forward to spending time with our new friends!

Emily and Raa Raa

I just had to share this we you all.
This is my niece Emily!
I believe that this was in 2008.
This was a rabbit my parents has got to keep at there house for a while.
This is Emily now with Raa Raa.
She has grown up so much and is just a joy!!

I hope you all have a great week!!

Tolbert Farms

Friday morning we woke up very excited about our day.  We got ready and headed to get Gan Gan and Gracie. We were going to get Sophie Clare a rabbit for Easter at Tolbert Farms in Steele, Alabama.  When we got there, we looked at the donkey for a bit till he starting doing  his talking. haha  He was sooo loud and scared both girls.  Then it was off to see the rabbits.  She did not have many left but they were all so cute.
How do you choose??
We looked at all the rabbits, goats and pigs.
We even saw a rabbit that was just 1 week old.
Then it was back to trying to decide on a rabbit. Sophie Clare was not much help, there was just to much going on.
The winner was this little "male" beauty here.
He is just the sweetest ever. I fell quickly in love with him.
How could you not??
Just look at that cute face!!
Ashlee (owner of Tolbert Farms) was sweet enough to get out a baby goat for the girls to pet.  Sophie Clare was not going to pet it but Gracie jumped right in.
When we got home we showed the rabbit to Jamie and Sophie Clare then fell in love with him just as much as me!
She hugged him..........
She kissed him............
And even held him!
My dad built him a very cute bunny hutch that you will eventually see.
The big question I am sure you are wondering..................
What did we name him??
Well, Sophie Clare can't say rabbit, she says RAA, RAA!
So the winner was
RAA RAA.

An Egg-celant Time

I have tons to blog about and I am not going in any kind of order. So bare with me through all of my EASTER blog post.
Friday "Good Friday" was such a great day!  It started off busy and seem to stay that way all day. We added a new memeber to the family (more on that later).
About 8:00 that night it was finally time to dye some Easter Eggs.
Sophie Clare could not get the hang of dropping the eggs in easy.
She just wanted to throw them in. haha
I am trying to catch the splash with my hand! ha

We had lots of fun and may try it again next week.

HE AROSE

I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!

Under The Dryer

We had revival at the beginning of the week. We had a total of 4 seervices and let me just say Br Phil Winningham was wonderful!! I enjoy each and every service! Sophie Clare was a doll baby in each service!!
I decided to give her a bath and wash her hair on Tuesday before service.   Her hair soaks up the water and was not going to be dry. So I broke out the blow dryer. I set her on top of the furniture in the bathroom and she just played while I dried.
I was afraid she would wiggle and want me to stop but she was a perfect angel the entire time!

Bath Tub Paint

I am all about something new and fun to do.  I am as bad as any child, with my attention span. haha
It gets old doing the same ole thing day in and day out. So being a stay at home mom, I love finding fun things for me and Sophie Clare to do.
I ran across this blog yesterday and they had the cutest idea.
SHAVING CREAM PAINT.

We are headed to Wal-Mart to get us some shaving cream!!

Tea Cups

While Sophie Clare naps, I am sitting in my comfy chair and doing a little blog surfing!
Oh I can get so sucked  in and get over whelmed at the same time.

There is so much to look at!!

How do you choose when you only have a short amount of time??
Anyways, I was on DESIGN DAZZLE and ran across the cutest idea!!

What little girl would not LOVE to make these adorable "egg" tea cups??
I hope you all are having a fabulous week!!

White Spirea

Simply Domestic had asked me a while back what the name of this bush was.......
WHITE SPIREA.
It is covered from head to toe with little white flowers.
