I used to watch American Idol a long time ago but it got old quick!

 THE VOICE

is a whole new show with tons of talent and I love it!!

I have enjoyed the judges, the songs, and the artist.!!

I can not wait to see who wins!!

The Golden Arch

I wanted to share with you a couple of my treasures that I have found recently.

I found this Ronald McDonald Resturant Play House with all kinds of goodies at the local thrift store. I fell in love with it the second I saw it. How much fun this would have been when I was a little girl. I felt like it would be a little to old for Sophie Clare but she has played with it a lot!!

I got it for $ 6.99!

I also found these 3 brand new bathing suits at Goodwill for

$ 1.49 each!!

They are all sizes 4 or 5 which will be great for next year or the next! haha

I am all about stocking up of good deals!

A Special Dress

As a little girl, my mom always dressed me up!  She is very talented.; Mom smocked several of my dresses when I was little and I am so thankful that she saved them.  

Many moons ago, I could only imagine letting my little girl wear my dresses.

At times, I was afraid that it would never happen, then

 GOD BLESSED US

with the most amazing little girl ever!!

Sunday was a special day for me because Sophie Clare wore one of my dresses!

 I thought she looked like a little doll!

Fireworks

Saturday night, Boaz had music and fireworks.   I gave Sophie Clare her bath and put on her pj's. The fireworks did not start till 9:30  and I knew that SC would be ready for bed when we got home.  We got there a little early and sat in the back of the truck!  By the way, That was Sophie Clare's favorite part. 

It was all fun and games till the fireworks started. She never did cry but bless her little her, she was so uncomfy. She kept saying no and home. Needless to say we left early, which was ok with me!!

Showering Addison

Saturday, my mom gave our cousin Kathy a baby shower!

Everything was so pretty and the food was delish!!

Kathy is having a precious little girl,

We had a wonderful time getting together!!

UH OH

It's Magic!!

On Thursday, Andrea and I decided to take the children to the magic show at the library.  They had 2 shows and we thought we give the 9:00 show a try.  We finally got out the door and Andrea calls saying......

MY CAR IS DEAD!!

WHAT??

Well my sweet dad went over and jumped her off!

During this we decided to go to the 10:30 show.  SC and I had some time to  hit some thrift stores!!

We finally made it to the magic show!!

The magician was AUTHUR ATSMA and let me just say he was amazing!!

It was a little over the girls head but they were good!!

Then it was off through McDonald's drive thru and the local sprinklers.

We got there and the girls barely ate lunch! They were excited to play!!

At first it was all fun!!

Sophie Clare ran and played!

I just love watching her enjoy herself!!

Matia Grace, well it took her a min to get warmed up!

But when she did she had a fun!!

Max is just the best baby in the world!

Sophie Clare is my wondering child! She was everywhere! Wanting to go down steps, go up and down the hill. Why could she just not stay at the sprinklers?? haha

This is where all the fun ended!!

There were kids swimming in the lake and the girls were dying to see! Andrea walked down with Matia Grace and Sophie Clare followed. I stayed and entertained Max for a bit!  It was all fun looking at the water and the other kiddos till poor Matia Grace hurt the bottom of her foot!  Bless her heart, she just cried!! I felt so sorry for her!! 

We decided then that we would not go back and we weill just leave it at that!!

A Night Swim

We are having a bit of a dilemma or at least I think so! haha

Considering Sophie Clare is pretty much potty trained, we are not doing swimmers anymore. All of her bathing suits are a little baggy.  :0(  So I was trying one on her last night and she decided she wanted to go swimming.  So off we went for a night swim!! 

She sure did enjoy it!!

How is Potty Training??

It is going really good!!

 For the first 2 days we stayed at home and that was a breeze.

 Wednesday, we had some errands to run and I was a little nervous. Hobby Lobby was our first stop and she kept thinking she had to go, we would try and nothing. 

Sophie Clare would keep saying t t in pobby!

I had brought a "bowl" with us just in case. She t t'd in it and the rest of the day was smooth. She had 1 accident and that was at church! 

 Thursday and Friday we were were busy around town with friends and again she was awesome!!  She still had a couple of accidents but I could not be more proud of her! We are still doing diapers at nap and at night. We will do that for a while!!

Baa Baa Sheep

Yesterday Sophie Clare had tons of friends at story time!!

Matie Grace. Max, Luke and Leslie brought her girls Kailey and Kenedi.

Sophie Clare is really starting to open up more and more during music!!

 I love it!!

Sophie Clare was just not into the story yesterday! I am not sure if it was because there were so many children or what!! She decided to look at books instead!

Our friend Jodi is interning at the library and we love seeing her each week!  We can't wait till she does story time!! ;)

Day 2 of PT

Day 2 of Potty Training went pretty good!!

She only had 2 accidents out of about 14 T T's.

 I think that is reallygood!!

I am so proud of her!!

We have some errands to run today!! 

 I want her to wear panties but I am nervous!!

VBS & Sophie Clare

For the past couple of years of VBS were a little trying at times!

Sophie Clare stuck wanted to be with me but that was not possibe when I was teaching!!

We just had to do the best we could!!

FINALLY, this year was so much better and she really seem to enjoy it!! 

 We only had a couple of times she wanted to stay with me!! 

It is sad to see her grow up but I am proud of her for being a big girl!!

On the last night the children got up and performs the theme song to VBS!

SC did a fabulous job of dancing and clapping!!

Can't wait till next year!!

She will really be all about it!!

A Pool Playdate

I had invited my very dear friend Jennifer and her 2 kiddos swimming!

Sophie Clare was so excited that they were coming!!

We all had such a good time and it was great getting to spend some time with Jen!!

We do not get to see each other enough!!
