Potty Training ???

Are we potty training??

No, not really.

Sophie Clare just does not seem to be quite ready but she does love to practice sitting on the potty.

She usually does it with her pants on but I decided that if she wants to sit there she might as well practice the right way.

She will sit on the potty forever.

She knows all about how the process works and talks a lot about it.

 Maybe it want be to long!

A New Ride

Monday night, I went to another consignment show (5 Little Bees)  in Attalla. 

 I had the opportunity to shop early because of dear sweet friends!!

  I did not find a lot of clothes but as you all know, we did not really need anything. I did find her a smocked ALABAMA dress!! YAY!! I have been wanted to get Sophie Clare a little red tricycle for a while now but felt that it was crazy to spend $50.00 on something that I knew I would find at a yard sale this Summer. 

Waiting paid off.

 I got it for $10.00!!

She was very exited about her new ride!!

Over Joyed

She puts a smile on my face and brings so much joy to my heart!!

I love this little girl with all that I am and I can not imagine life without her!!

She is such a sweet girl and rarely ever gives me any problems. 

 God has truely blessed us!!

She talks from the time she gets up till she goes to sleep.

As a parent, if you have a late talker..............

Everyday she says more and more!!

She has been saying for about a month now, HER NAME!

What is her name, Sophie Clare!!

She says, NAME SOPHIE.

She says  "come on"  all the time and loves to "PAY" at "Wal-Mart.

She loves her family and wants to see them all the time! She is always wanting to go to the mall and ride the "he he's"  (carousel)

She sometimes "hides" from me when I bring out the camera.

She is full of life and makes me a better person!!

She will copy whatever you do!!

 No matter how you sit or how you act..............she will do what you are doing.

I told  her to smile at me and this is her "sweet" smile.

 I love her with all that I am!!

I Heart VBS

Did you know it is MARCH??

Did you know that we had our first meeting for VBS today??

You can never start planning to early for VBS. There is always so much to do and lots of planning.  We heard our theme song which is cute and got our liteture. I have the 4 and 5 year old which is what I have in Sunday School and Cubbies.

I am so loving our theme this year!!

Pointy-Toe Heels

Pointy-Toe Heels are back!!

If you knew me at all when these were in before,  you can imagine how excited I am about this!!

I LOVE LOVE heels...........well shoes of any kind.

Lucky (magazine ) is always on top of the new trend.

I am so glad I still have ALL my pointy-toe heels!!

Sweet Cousins

When I was growing up, my cousins were some of my best friends!!

Family is so important to me and I love that Sophie Clare is getting to experience "close family" ties

. Emily and Gracie were at Gran and Pop's so they came up after dinner.

Farrah Jaye is staying the weekend with her Nina and Poppy.

Sweet Braden was with is grandmother.

They all ended up at our house and seem to enjoy hanging out!!

Sophie Clare is very independent when it comes to the slide but with Emily around she needed a hand!!

We have the sweetest babies in our family and love them all so very much!!

Spring is in the Air

It seems like forever since I have done a photoshoot of Sophie Clare.

 In the Winter it is just so hard because it is so cold. 

 So now that Spring is in the air, I am photoshoot happy!

Oh there is nothing good at all about having a WATER LEAK under your kitchen sink!!

Late Saturday, Jamie come to the conclusion that we had a PROBLEM!  

 MOLD IS NO GOOD!!

So he un-hook everything and needless to say we were without a kitchen sink all day SUNDAY and MONDAY.  We went to Lowes to get a facet before church Sunday night.  When we got home from chruch, we felt like the "ox was in the ditch" and we needed to work on it. Needless to say that the water supply lines was not long enough so it was back to the store on Monday. While all of this was going on......................EVERYTHING under my sink was in the kitchen floor. Sophie Clare decides that a seat in the middle of all the BAD stuff is a good idea. hehe

Great Pics

My nieces spent the night with my parents Saturday night. After all of our business on Saturday, we played, rode the 4 wheeler and just had fun. Sunday morning they got to come to our church and we were thrilled to have them!! We went to mom and dad's to try and get some pics of the girls together. That was a big joke!! We got 1 of all of them! They all were running in different directions, not happy or wanting to hold an empty bottle of bug juice. haha

Do you see what I mean about running in different directions and not happy. Sophie Clare is a monkey and will climb anything. I am not sure why Gracie looks so unhappy, unless it is because we took the "empty" bottle of bug juice.

 Bless her heart!

Well there those 2 girls wanting to get there play clothes on. haha

We had tons of fun with them and love them like crazy!!

Friendly Farm Fun

Saturday, The Friendly Farm had there Spring Celebration and sale.

  I met my friend Jennifer so that our children could hang out. We of course shopped first and then enjoyed the activities.

What did we buy?? 

 I am sure you are wondering...............

I bought Sophie Clare a pair of white SUN SANDALS and a GIFT.

Jennifer bought Cole some swim trunks and Maddie a EASTER DRESS.

The children enjoyed digging in the dirt and planting there tomato plants.

This little girl was such a cutie and her name is MAGGIE!

It was fun just getting to spend time with each other, talk, drink lemonade, eat popcorn and cookies.

We also got to enjoy a tractor ride which we all loved.
