Yep, I still have them and they still fit!!

YAY!! 

I had to have some new denim skinny jeans. I bought some at OLD NAVY when they had there $15.00 jean sale. Well I get them home, try them on and they make my hiney look long and flat..................

A Wedding Reception

A couple of Saturday nights ago,  we gathered with tons of friends and family to celebrate a long time friends wedding nuptuials.

 Michelle (we have been friend since elmentary school) and Mark.

 They were wed in the caribbean a couple of weeks ago. It was nothing short of a  fairy tale for Michelle and Mark. It all started with with her getting pulled over by the  police. That was only the beginning............with many suprises and letters, she ended up in NEW YORK CITY (my favorite place) where she was purposed to at a piano bar.  They planned a fabulous wedding on a private island. We were excited about the reception!

We could not wait to celebrate with them!

Our New Ceiling Fan

We added a great addition to our front porch!

We are loving it!! It is so hot hot outside so when  Sophie Clare wants to go outside and play.......... I will tell her we can go out on the porch but thats it. We can swing, write with chalk, paint, and blow bubbles. We have lots of fun things to do on the porch.

First Night Of Awana

I have been teaching Cubbies in Awana's for a while now...........

about 5 years.

I have loved every minute of it. It is trying at time because I am ocd about order in my class. haha  I love for them to come in and have a color sheet waiting on them. When everyone arrives, we have our story and talk about our Bible verse.  We go for a play time either outside or downstairs. Then it's back up for snack, craft, music, ect.  I love for the kids to cut, glue, paint, color, play doh and tons more. I want them to learn about GOD and have fun!! I love seeing them learn and remember what I have taught them!!

Tonight was our first night of Awana's in our classroom. I only had Braden and Sophie Clare part of the time. She is suppose to be a Puggle for another year but she was walking back and forth tonight. Braden was sweet and listened as I told him about God's love. Although he was not much into the painting or coloring..........oh well we will do other fun things!   I am praying for more Cubbies next week!! It is so much fun with one but the kiddos love it with a room full!!

It Could Be Worse

What a week it has been?? It seems to have been one thing after the other. It all started Saturday when I was getting ready to carry Sophie Clare down to my moms. Where oh where was my smart key?? I could not find it anywhere.  Jamie and I were going to a wedding reception that night. We were driving separate so that he could get SC to bed. He ended up staying home while I met my girlfriends.  

As I was walking out the door, I went to get my wallet............GUESS WHAT??

I left it at Belks!!  Oh well I'll get it later, that was the least of my worries.

He searched for the key while I was gone and still nothing.  Sunday morning rolled  and I am just sick that I can not find my key. We spent all afternoon after church looking for the key.  I cried and cried. My windows were rolled down and we thought it was going to rain. I usually don't get real worked up over stuff like this but for some reason I just could not get over it. Sunday afternoon, as I am holding Sophie Clare while she naps, my blackberry decides to go crazy on me.  Wow, my weekend was just getting better and better. haha

We got up Monday morning to handle the phone situation. 

WHY ARE CELL PHONE SO COSTLY??

I wanted what I had but that was going to cost a nice $250.00.

I ended up with a better phone (gravity smart)  because they were running a special but then I had no clue how to work the thing. 

 Finally yesterday it was time to have the car towed to the Nissan dealership to have a new key made.  Sophie Clare was sooo upset that the car was leaving. She cried and cried.  All she kept saying was get mama's car. :(               

Everything is taking care of thanks to Jamie!!

It's Wednesday and the day is much much better.

Birthday Parties Galore

Our past couple of weekends have consisted of birthday parties.

The first one was COLE'S at the bouncy place. Sophie Clare decided not to take a nap so we did not stay the entire time. The time she was there............SHE HAD A BLAST!!!

Story Time Fun

Last Thursday morning, I was not sure that we were going to story time. I asked Sophie Clare if she wanted to go and she would say no. Finally at the last min, she was ready to go. We had to move fast to get there on time.

This is the library dog and Sophie Clare ask every week if she is going to be there. She is the sweetest dog. She just lays behind the desk and never makes a peep.

This is a friend of ours little girl. Madi Claire and she is such a doll.

Then is was off to Chick fil A to meet up with Angie and Gracie.

We had a fabulous time and I am so thankful we have activities to do with friends!!

Awanas in Full Swing

Wednesday was parents night at our church for Awanas. We had a pretty good turn out! I ended up with only 2 Cubbies so far but praying that we grow!!
