Tid-Bits

I am always talking about Sophie Clare and the things that are going on in our life.  I decided to share with you a few tid-bits! 

I am totally addicted to Special K crackers, chips, the bars and there pastry bars.

Sophie Clare's hair was not looking the best in the world. I decided to ditch the cheap shampoo and get her something better.

 I love it and it smells soooo good! 

 Believe it or not her hair does look better and healthier!

I am guilty as can be..........yes, I watch GH. Oh but how it is driving me crazy!  GH is pulling all those peeps from Days and letting them be some of the main characters.. UGH! I am not happy about it and neither is Andrea! If you watch it, you know who Heather Webber is........I hope she gets caught and put in Fernclif! Crazy woman!

Whats up with Robin?? She died but UH OH........NO she did not. They showed a sneak peak and then nothing else. Poor Sam has already lost one baby and now the switch. Whew! They need to step it up or I am afraid people may stop watching!

Sure Is Hot

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. We had pretty good weekend. 

 Can you believe how hot it is??

 WOW!

 Can you imagine how hot is is going to be in August?? 

Considering it is so hot, we are spending a lot of time in the pool. Jamie is even going with us on Saturdays because it is to hot for him to work outside.  Sophie Clare got herself a new hat a couple of weeks ago at GAP. She loves it and it is super cute on her.  I so wish that she love to  have her pic made.

  We bought her some new boats (pink & purple) and she is hanging on to them with a tight grip. haha

Braden has been her partner this Summer.

I bought this boat at Academy for SC for $3.00........I thought that was a great deal!!

My parents had the girls so we went to see them for a bit and they wanted to go to Noccallula Falls. So we headed home to get ready and met them there.

I love love Sophie Clare's hair like this.

I had to really get stern with them to get a pic of all 3 and you see how well it worked. haha  This was the best one out of like 5. ;-)

The Falls were HOTT and we had to meet Jamie. We met at Chillis and had a wonderful dinner. When we finished we took a walk along the lake.  I wanted to get Jamie and Sophie Clare's pic but she would have NO part so I just took his! ;-)

She agreed to have her pic with me but it had to be on her terms. haha I told her to sit in my lap and she said I will sit in front. Check out that face..........We do all kinds of tricks, saying and nothing gets that girl while the camera is up!  Oh well!

Sunday morning we went to church, then to Momma Goldberg's to eat and then is was off to Centre to see Jamie's family.  Sophie Clare enjoyed hanging down by the water.

I took the camera away from my face, smiled at her and said really...............

then she gave me this one.

Gives me the willies!

We stopped by the cemetery where Jamie's dad is buried and I am not a camera person with the grave..................but Sophie Clare was playing and it was sweet. She is always saying Pawpaw Larry is in heaven with Jesus.

Thankfully we do not have a lot going on this week, we plan on soaking up the sun and spending some time with friends!  Sophie Clare's sinus are playing tricks on her again. Yesterday she sneezed about 182 times and last night when we got home from church, she was beyond pooped. She fell asleep on me at 7. I tried to lay her down a couple of times and she just would not do it, so I held her for about 4 hrs. It was nice to hold her considering she is not napping as much. I was afraid we would be up early this morning but we were not she slept till 8.

13 hrs of sleep......wow!

Let's Dance and Read

 Happy Friday!

I am sure you are glad it is the weekend! We really don't have any major plans unless I get them together in the next little bit! I am the planner in the house! Jamie just goes along with whatever! ;-)

The library does not host story time during the Summer but they do, do a Summer reading program.  The Summer reading program is awesome. They do a great job. Last week, they had a wild animal show that we went to and I will try to post those pics later. Today The Downtown Dance Conservatory was there dancing. That will be where Sophie Clare takes dance this Fall and I was excited about her seeing up close.

Jamie of course asked if Sophie Clare participated??? 

Really?? Our shy little girl.........No she sat in my lap the entire time but thats ok.

While I was cooking, she decided that she was going to be in a dance recital.  She dressed up in ballet shoes, tutu and all.  She was so excited to twirl, point her toes and she said she even had to go to class!

Love her sooo much and can't wait for her to take dance in the Fall!

 I hope she LOVES it!



I Can Not Wait

I am proud to announce that our vacation to the beach is booked. Sophie Clare is beyond excited and can not wait.  She is loving the water this year and I can not wait to see her sweet face. It has  been a new adventure every year!

This is her very first trip to the beach, she was so little and had so many curls!

It looks absolutely wonderful!  

We still have a while before we leave but it is fun and excited to think about!

No Tears, No Cavities

Yesterday was a day I was a little nervous about. It was time for Sophie Clare's 6 month cleaning. The first time she went it was very scary for her and she cried the entire time they cleaned her teeth! :-(

We have been talking it up and at first she said that she was going to be whiny and cry. I  tried to encourage her that it was going to be ok and they were just going to get the sugar bugs off.  She does not go for bribes but me and she has been wanted a tractor or gator. My big mouth opened and I said if you don't cry me and daddy will try and get you one. WOW! She was a determined little girl. She kept telling me she was going to be a fweet girl!  We arrived and you could tell she was a little unsure. She stayed right with me and did  not even offer to get down and play. We only had to wait about 2 min and then we were off.  I asked her if she wanted to sit in the chair and she of course did not so I held her. She laid her sweet head back and opened wide. Still NO TEAR! She was such a big girl!

I was soo proud of her.

When the dentist walked up she did not smile but she gave him five! :-) 

 Her teeth were great and she got a prize.

Excited and being silly!  Looks like we better start shopping for the best prices in town! And I am shaking my head at myself. lol Please no judgment needed!  Oh well she is only little once!

After that we went to Target and just hung out in Trussville for a bit. It was nice to be in a different city! ;-)

As for the rest of the week, we have been swimming, got my hair trimmed. I suppose that we will just take it easy for the next couple of days and enjoy the sun!

Happy Father's Day

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! We had the most fun and relaxing weekend! We spent the day at the pool on Saturday and had the best time! 

Sophie Clare LOVES her daddy! The older she gets the more she loves him. She is starting to LOVE Saturdays because he is off and she is under his feet just about all day. She loves to run to the store with him and I love seeing her face when she comes in. WHY? Her daddy always gets her something and she is so excited about it.  She loves when he pretends to be a horse that is one of her faves! She ask about him all day while he is at work and looks forward to him coming home! She even pretends to work where he does! It is so cute!  I am very thankful she has such a good daddy!

Can't forget my daddy!  Oh I love him so much! He is the most giving, Godly, kind and selfless man! He is always there when you need him. I am very thankful that Sophie Clare gets to spend tons of time with him. Breakfast is one of my favorite meals of the day and he always made a fabulous one. French toast to die for and the best panckes that you ever put in your mouth!

Thank you daddy for all you do!

The Bestest Of Friends

I have had this post in my draft for a while and could not think of a better day than today to post it.  Today is one of my oldest dearest bestest friends of all times birthday!

Andrea and I have been friends for some time now. Since oh about 3.

She has always been by side and I am very thankful to have her in my life.She is an amazing, sweet, beautiful lady inside and out. I am blessed to call her my friend!

We got together today and carried the kiddos to the Wild Animal Show at the Library then did lunch! I am so glad I got to spend time with her on her birthday!  We are also looking forward to hanging out just us next Thursday night! Can't wait to celebrate agian!
