We have not been to the Boaz Library for STORY TIME in a while. Not to say anything bad but every week they sang the same songs and the stories were way over Sophie Clare's head. Not to say anything bad but it just got boring. So Gadsden has story time 2 days a week and my friend Andrea tried it out first and really liked it. So we met this past Thursday and had the best time. Let me just say, we will be going back.
There children's section is so so cute. All of the books are at eye level for them to see. They have a cute little area for the children to look at book and cute chairs to sit in.
We first sang songs, like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, ABC's, and The Wheels on the Bus.
Sophie Clare did not sing but really watched the other children.
Then they had a special guest, Marlo the monkey and he talked about the importance of brushing teeth.
They also showed a little video.
All of the children took turns brushing Marlo's teeth.
Matia Grace jumped right in to brushing his teeth.
Sophie Clare well, she got busy looking at something else.
When we finish there, they colored a tooth and made a necklace out of it.
Snack time, they gave them all a banana and apple juice.
Max really was excited about his banana and ate every bite!
After we finished at the library, it was off to Chick-fil-a for lunch and playing!!
