Free Movie + Free Popcorn = Free Fun

Good Morning!

 Our week has been busy trying to get everything ready for VBS. It starts tomorrow and it is always crazy on the first day to me. We have been cutting out stuff, making stuff to make sure it will work.  It is always hectic getting everything together but once it gets here, it is sooo much fun. 

 Yesterday morning we went and walked.  We are on our 2nd week of walking a mile every morning. Sophie Clare LOVES it and LOVES riding her bike. She woke up this morning and said 

DO YOU WANT TO GO WALK BEFORE YOU EAT BREAKFAST?? 

She is a good motivator. 

I am glad  walking, it is giving me more energy so I am coming home getting a lot more done. That is a lot better than wanting to sit on the couch for 2 hrs after I wake up. haha 

Anyways, Sophie Clare has pink container boxes in her room. We call them junk boxes. They are filled with happy meal toys, phones.....Just stuff. 

When she was little I could dump a box out and she would go through it forever. ;-)  So we worked on cleaning those out and Sophie Clare did really good as getting rid of some stuff. I was very proud of her.

Someone had an obsession with phones for a while! 

After we did that, I sat down at the computer a min and remembered that the library was showing there free movie. Sophie Clare is not much into tv but I thought, its free and would be fun to try. I asked Sophie Clare if she wanted to go and she was very excited. So we got ready. She was able to carry a blanket and pillow. HOW FUN!!

We got there and found us a nice little spot. They had chairs for the adults but it was a mommy/daughter time. So I sat with her of course. 

She was super stoked about her popcorn. 

The movie was BRAVE, it was a little to mature for Sophie Clare. It also was really loud. I am sure they had it that way just in case kiddos were loud.  She ate almost 2 boxes of popcorn. We made it for about an hour which I thought was pretty good. 

We had a good time and will most def check it out again. 

That is about it for today. The girls are coming to play! YAY!!

Tis the Season For Being Busy

Since school has been out we have been super busy on the weekends and they are not slowing down yet. June is a very busy month with lots of birthday celebrating, Bible school and wedding showers.  

Sophie Clare and I are going to have to do some Summer celebrating during the week so that we can squeeze it all in before school starts back. 

This past Saturday, we celebrated Matia Grace 's 5th birthday. 

It was a bouncy party for a princess! 

I did not take a ton of pics because all that was going on was bouncing and running! 

When we got home from the party, we decided to head to Santa Fe for dinner. Sophie Clare wanted to ride the bull. She asked was it real.. Got to love her imagination!! ;-) 

I have been slacking on blogging and I can't make any excuses. 

I am going to try hard to do better!! 

3 Of The Sweetest Girls

I love spending time with all 3 of these girls! 

They are sooo much fun! 

Friday they came to spend the day! We had such a fun day and a busy one.  They played in the pool and did the slip n slide. This is a sweet pic, Sophie Clare is drying Gracie off. 

We went and played on the playground.

 They had tons of fun  running and playing. 

Then it was back home to cool down in the pool.

Half Way To 5

I can not believe that Sophie Clare is now HALF WAY TO 5.

 How is this even possible?  

Time with her is just flying by. 

AGE 4 is giving me a run for my money. haha  There are days that she is so sassy, demanding, stubborn and will not do what I say. Those days are full of teaching and training. Lots of crying on both our parts. ;-)  Thankfully we are getting through them and they are few of them. 

She still has her imaginary friends. Sister and Mack. She said that Joke passed away and went to heaven. She also said that Sister was still in school.  She tells me things that relate to her through her " friends". I think she is missing school just a bit. 

She is a great little eater for the most part. She will take real food over candy or junk anytime.  Although breakfast is a challenge.  She either wants goldfish or chips. I am trying to make her eat something healthy before but it is hard. 

She weighs 39 pounds and around 41 inches tall. 

She talks all the time and now let us talk about sleeping. 

She is waking up in the hour of 6. I can do 7:15 to 8:00 all day long.  I have decided to take advangtage of her waking up early. We are going to a local track and walking.  We carry her bike and side walk chalk for her something to do. 

Tv...........well some days I just wish she would sit and watch a 2 hr movie. haha But for the most part she only watches it in the morning while she eats breakfast or during the day while she eats lunch or lays down to rest. Now those are only 10 mins time frames. 

Her favorite thing to wear is t-shirts and that is A OK at home. ;-) 

She is smart, kind, beautiful, sassy, funny and I love everything about her. 

That is just a little bit about her. 

She is so much more! 

Happy Memorial Day

 Our Memorial Day was pretty low key which was how I wanted it. I wanted to get some sun and just hang out outside.  My aunts pool is not open yet so we have made our on little water park in the backyard. I like to call it our redneck water park. I felt like we had one last year but we have added a slip n slide this year.  We are really enjoying it. 

It took Sophie Clare a little bit to get the hang of  it she loved just running on it. She mainly does it on her knees and that's ok. 

This is what she enjoyed the most. Just sitting in the water table and playing. 

This is one thing that was worth every penny. We bought it for her when she was 1 and she has loved it. 

We cooked some hamburgers on the grill and rested with the little tv on a blanket while they cooked. 

It was a very good day! 

Our Sunday Fun

I am all about dressing patriotic for the occasion so that is what we did of course. Sophie Clare wore her flag dress which I am pushing it with the length. haha 

I wore a navy and white polka dot dress from TJ Maxx! 

I love when I can find cute dresses from there. 

I added a red skinny belt paired with red flats. 

We had a great service at church and they had called service off that night. We took advantage of that and  went to Decatur for ALABAMA JUBILEE.  We have been before and had so much fun. I was super excited about going back. It took us a good hour to get there.  I promise Sophie Clare asked me every 5 mins when we were going to be there. I am sure a 6 hr ride to the beach is going to be fun. haha 

We got there and set our area up with our blanket, cooler and snacks. Now we were ready to relax and enjoy the balloons.

We walked around and looked at all the balloons  and then came back for the kids to play. 

This girl is a mess. She will just smile when I take pictures of her and Jamie. When it comes to me, well the faces are endless.
