Harvest Fest

It is FALLING back time, and its getting dark so early. Being a stay at home mom, it has made the day really long.  Not really a bad thing but at 7........I was like, it is only 7??  I will get used to it but it will just take some time. We may just have to get out of the house tomorrow!

How was your weekend?? Ours was pretty good except for Bama losing but there are bigger issues in life. They will pull through and it will be fine! We watched the game with the Wehunts and had some fabulous YUMMY taco soup. We ended up coming home at half time because Sophie Clare was tired!

Sunday we all got up early because of the time change, went to church, ate at the yummy local pizza place and Sophie Clare was dieing to spend the afternoon with Gann Gann and Pop.  My friend Andrea sent me a text about there "Fall Fest" at church. We hated to miss our church but we knew Sophie Clare would really enjoy it! 

We ended up there a little early and Sophie Clare kept asking were Matia Grace was??? She could not wait for her to get there.

There church had tons of games set up for the children. It took Sophie Clare a bit to get warmed up but when she did, she had a blast. 

This particular game, you dropped the ball down the nails for it to fall in a slot. SC wanted to keep throwing the ball. haha Jamie had to finally show her how it worked.

They even had a fun photo booth!

They had a huge Chili cook off with as least 30 crock pots. They even had hot dogs and as you can see Sophie Clare is loving it!! A mouth full of hot dog! :-)

They also had the local fire trucks, a fabulous balloon man and a blood drive. They had a quota to meet and were lacking 4. Jamie was quick to respond.
