Reading To Baby

Did ya miss us??

 I really did not plan to take a break it just kind of happened. I missed blogging but it was nice not "having" to get on the computer. So, what have we been up to. Let's back it up to this past Thursday.

Thursday- I shopped at a local consignment sale and got tons of goodies.

Friday- Me, mom and Sophie Clare went to The Cotton Tail show at the BJCC, Jamie was off so he painted the dining room! YAY!! I will share more about that later.

Saturday- We got up and went back to the consignment sale for the 50% off day and got some more great things! Went to Good Will and got some of the most fabulous "brand new" nude heals!  Jamie finished up painting and we had some yummy potato soup for dinner.

Sunday- We went to church, the girls and my brother came for a visit and then it was back to church.

Monday-  We worked around the house

Tuesday- Wal-Mart,  met Andrea  and the kiddos at Chick-fil-a for lunch and got my nails done.

Considering we just painted the dining room and really have not done many "decorating updates" I wanted some new window treatments for the dining room. So off to Birmingham we went. I found exactly what I wanted and they only had one panel. I went ahead and bought it. I am hoping to find the rest on line.  We also went to the Galleria and did a little shopping. Sophie Clare was such a sweet girl all day.

When we go  home, she played while I did a few chores. She always stays right with me no matter what I am doing. She brought her baby and a book to the kitchen. She began reading to her baby. She says one day then  jibber jabbers

 and then says

 I love swimming

Jibbers some more then says

I want a cookie

It was sooo cute and wish I could have video taped it.

I got this little outfit a long time ago and it had some one's monogram on it. I tried taking it out and it was not working. So I went to Hobby Lobby and bought a felt applique. My mom came up and help me get it on and

TADAAA.
