Today was a big day for us.
We registered for 3 year old school.
She will go 2 days a week for 4 hours.
That's not so bad........is it??
We were getting ready this morning and she asked where we were going?? I told her we were going to fill out her papers for school. At first she said, I got to carry my backpack and I am going to learn. Then she changed her tune. She asked me several times if we were coming right back home. I reassured her that we were. We just had to visit and come right back.
When she is home, running and playing she seems so little. But when I look at these pics, she looks like such a big girl. I love her so much and I am going to miss her like crazy. On the bright side, she is going to make new friends, have fun and learn so much. I requested her teachers so fingers crossed that it works out. If it does, I went to high school with one and the other I used to go to church with. I knew one of the other teachers as well. Any of them would be great!
Here she is right before we go into register. Guess who we spotted on the playground??
"BUBBA" aka Braden.
I could tell Sophie Clare was unsure about the whole process. We filled out our paper work and I asked if we could look around. They were kind enough to let us. Although, I do believe that Sophie Clare thought she was going to have to stay. She would not walk and started to cry. :-(
I assured her that we were just looking and told her we could see bubba. She calm down a bit when she saw the other boys and girls. In the first class they were singing Jesus Loves Me and that got her attention a bit. We visited there for just a min then off to the next class which was Braden's. He acted a little shy and Sophie Clare just stood there beside me while I talk to him. She ended up holding my hand out the door which I thought was good. As we were leaving we ran into April and Luke. Fingers crossed that they will be in the same class! All the way home Sophie Clare was a little concerned who was going to get Braden and what he was doing. I again was assuring her that he would get to come home.
August will get here soon enough so we are going to live it up till then! ;-)
What am I talking about?? We are always living it up. haha
