We have new members in our family. We have been watching our blue bird houses for a while now and one of the new ones that my dad put up already had a nest in it. We were so excited and could not wait for some baby birds. Saturday (before Easter) we opened the house up to check in on our eggs and much suprised we had one baby blue bird hatched. Sophie Clare was beyond amazed. We quickly looked and took a pic. We need to close it up so mommy bird could get back.
The Monday after Easter we checked on our babies again and they were all hatched out. All 5 of them.
We have checked on the a couple of more times and they are doing great. I am not sure how long it will be before they take flight but we look forward to many more families.
