1st Saturday

What a beautiful Sunday it has turned out to be. We had some major thunderstorms last night. I had know idea that it was even going to rain. We have had a great weekend so far. Spent some much needed time with my nieces, went to a few yard sales, played outside,  Jamie's mom and both grandmothers came for a visit and then we ended the night going to 1st Saturday.

A while back Gadsden started 1st Friday, where the stores are open late, music, food, cars and much more. We love to go but Fridays are hard sometimes with Jamie working all day and rushing to get out the door. Boaz decided that they would try a 2nd Saturday which I have never been to but it is along the same lines. Attalla decided to try 1st Saturday and we went to check it out. I was excited about the stores staying open late. When we eat lunch at the Cupboard, Sophie Clare is tired and ready to come home so we never hang out. They have opened a couple of new shops, one is a boutique with very reasonable priced clothes and the other is Emma Kate's Cottage. I will share all about it on another post. I want to take you inside and tell you all about it.

We started out at Jefferson's for some wings. Oh so yummy. I never get tired of eating there.

Then we headed to downtown Attalla. We had a good and it was not crowded so that was nice. The highlight of the evening was Sophie Clare getting to see the fire truck.

And getting a snow cone.

After we finished up there, Sophie Clare was not ready to leave. We had parked in front of Family Dollar. She wanted to go in. I told her, lets just go somewhere else. She insisted that we go to Family Dollar General. haha We went inside and looked........not what she thought it was going to be. So then it was off to Wal-Mart. She loves going at night and looking at the bicycles. There is usually a tricycle down that she can ride. You would think that she did not have 3 at home. :-)  In honor of Mother's Day coming up, we bought a t-shirt that says

I heart Mom.

 Cheesy I know but cute. lol  She was very excited about her new t and could not wait to put it on after bath.
