Under The Weather

It is a very HAPPY THURSDAY in our home.  

 WHY?? 

 Sophie Clare is WELL and not CONTAGIOUS!! 

YAY!!  

Monday we were suppose to go with Cassy and the kids to the Falls and Chick-fil-a but poor Easton had a rough night and was sick.

We decided to not go............so Sophie Clare and I got ready and headed to get grocery's. She was excited about getting out considering we did not get out last week.   She had her baby stroller and was ready to go. We got about half way through Wal-Mart and she was complaining she was tired.

It was only 10........how could she be tired??

 By the time we finished she was laying on my shoulder. ;-(

We went ahead and stopped by another local grocery store to get our meat and by the time we got in there, she was burning up with fever.  She layed on my shoulder while I picked up the meat and when I checked out she fell asleep.  As soon as we got home gave her Tylenol and let that take affect. Bless her sweet heart. She was so pitiful!   Even though she felt bad, she still felt the need to give her sweet baby a bath.

We went to the dr Tuesday morning and she was such a sweet girl. She even told the dr what was bothering her. Her throat was the problem and looked awful.  Thankfully, no strep but it was a viral infection. No meds just let it run its course and when the fever breaks, wait 24 hrs to be around anyone.  After Monday, her fever was not near as high and she was much happier.

She is my girly girl but loves trucks and cars to. she gets that from her sweet Bubba.  She had them all lined in a row. She even picked out a new tractor at Wal-Mart. haha

Since she has been sick, she has been my special cook.

We would like to thank Johnna and Braden for letting us hang out  "outside" at the "pool" with them yesterday...........even though we were not within out 24 hr limit.  We were going stir crazy and needed to get out.  Thanks bunches!! 

Also we had revival this week and I am sad that we were only able to go Sunday night.  I think this is the first time I have ever missed it.  Although I am very thankful my sweet baby girl is much much better!
