Thursday, August 6 we were able to find out who Sophie Clare was going to spend her 1st grade year with.
I am sure everyone is a little anxious on this day, wondering who your teacher will be??
Sophie Clare really had her heart set on Mrs. Ledbetter. I tried to prepare that if she did not get her that it would be fine. ALL of the 1st grade teachers are wonderful and really sweet.
She was so happy when I told her that she go Mrs. Ledbetter!
Only one of her classmates was in her class from last year. I kinda hated that for her but she did not seem to mind. She told me that she would see them on the playground.
This is a new year and a new girl!
Last year she had the most nervous little face and would bite her lip.

This year, she is ALL SMILES!!
We ran into her sweet friend Braxton.
In the car singing and excited that it is going to be an awesome year!!
