It is a cloudy morning here in my town and I am kinda enjoying it. We have had some much needed rain, Thank the Lord!
It is nice not to have to get out there this morning and water our plants.
Sophie Clare's ear was still bothering her Sunday night so we went to the dr Monday morning. As we were walking down the steps at home, Sophie Clare told me her ear was shaking. Bless her heart. All that fluid was bouncing around in there. She has not really complained with it hurting, she just has not been her usual self. We decided to go our family dr. Kathy my cousin is a CRNP there and I was thankful she could see us! ;-) She gave us some antibiotic drop and not to go under water for 5 days. Sophie Clare was such a big girl that I treated her to a grape cream slush from Sonic. After that we piddled around town till time to pick up her meds.
Can't wait to share my finds!
When we got home, we did a whole lot of playing and entertaining. Sophie Clare was the entertainer. I had put the cokes in the refrigerator and she gets the empty boxes and pretends that she broke her legs. Where she saw this and even came up with it, I have not a clue. She walked around forever with them on her legs.
Yesterday she seem to feel much better. The girls were coming swimming and I asked her if she wanted to go. She did, so we gathered our stuff and out the door. She did really good for a while but then she started acting like she was tired and just was not having a good time. I also think she ended up getting water in her ear and it started hurting. So needless to we came back home and played. She was in a much better mood after drops. Later that afternoon, she was drinking some milk and fell asleep. She has only fell asleep by herself about 3 times..........That's like once a year. hahaha. So I let her snooze.
Look at those gorgeous lips!
I am hoping that she is all healed up in a day or 2.
We also went to Wal-Mart and bought some ear plugs for the future! We are going to protect these ears the best we can!
