Cheese and Bacon Potatoes

Another easy recipe from All Recipes and of course of  found in on Pinterest first. It was super easy and very yummy! It was a hit by all. 

Cheese and Bacon Potatoes


Ingredients

4 baking potatoes, cut in 1/2 inch slices
1/4 cup butter
8 ounces of shredded cheese
8 slices of bacon crumbled
1/2 cup chopped green onions

Note: I used bacon bits and did not use green onions. I also cut them all different sizes which turned out really well. They were crunchy and soft. 


Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Brush both sides of the potato slices with butter; place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in the preheated oven 400 degrees F oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until lighty brown on both sides, turning once.

When potatoes are ready, top with bacon, cheese, and green onion.

Continue baking until the cheese has melted
