A Busy Day

Hello to all my sweet bloggers!!

I hope all you mom's had a wonderful day!

I know that I did and I will share what Sweet Sophie Clare got me on another post.

Whew! I am tired!!

We started out this morning at the "Wonderful World Of Wal-Mart.  Then is was back home to unload the car, eat a bite of lunch, get ready to take SC to mom, go to a funeral, pick SC up, get SC to sleep, mop, folded 4 loads of clothes,cleaned the bath room  planted flowers, cooked dinner............

WOW!! 

 Can you say busy??

That is not all the other little stuff that goes on with taking care of a sweet baby girl!

Why did I do all of this today?? It needed to be done and I like to catch up on Monday so that I will be free to do whatever I want the rest of the week. hehe

If you are wondering who's funeral I went to.........

My friend Andrea's sweet grandmother passed away.

I have known her forver!!

She was such a sweet and precious lady!!

She will be missed greatly!

Do you feel Bad??

I DO!!!

Why you ask??

I feel so bad for the people that have lost there loved ones, homes, cars, ect. 

I feel bad for going on with my "everyday" life while they are going through theirs. 
When I start to do something, I think about those that are cleaning up the rubble.

It breaks my heart!!

I am so thankful for my family and my home.

I will be honest that I have not watched a lot of news footage about the tornado damage.

We lost cable and when we got it back I left it on things that Sophie Clare would want to listen to.

What I have watched is online and it is all so unreal.

Sunny uploaded a video that is unreal.

I believe her words were

UN-BELIEVE-ABLE

And she was right, not only was the tornado huge in Tuscaloosa  but it seem that this person was following it with there camera phone.

OH MY!!

I could not imagine..........

I would be so scared!!

Arab, Huntsville, Guntersville, Cullman, Rainsville, Southside, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa and  many more areas were affected.

Did you know anyone personally affected??

Kathy, that I worked with at Oral Surgery Associates, her mom lost her home.

I talked with her today and she told me the story. 

 It just brought tears to my eyes.

I thank him for sparing my family this time!!

Giving Thanks

Giving thanks and praising God that he had his hand on us once again. Seem like everytime a bad weather happens, it hits just a little closer to home. It makes me so thankful for the small things!!  We have been without cable, internet and phone so we have not got to watch a lot of news just yet. Today is the first day that we have had it. It seems so unimportant considering all of the tragedy going on around us. We never know when we may be the next.

I am just thanking God and I know that he is in control!!

Remember those that have lost loved ones, there homes and those without power!!

Oh there is nothing good at all about having a WATER LEAK under your kitchen sink!!

Late Saturday, Jamie come to the conclusion that we had a PROBLEM!  

 MOLD IS NO GOOD!!

So he un-hook everything and needless to say we were without a kitchen sink all day SUNDAY and MONDAY.  We went to Lowes to get a facet before church Sunday night.  When we got home from chruch, we felt like the "ox was in the ditch" and we needed to work on it. Needless to say that the water supply lines was not long enough so it was back to the store on Monday. While all of this was going on......................EVERYTHING under my sink was in the kitchen floor. Sophie Clare decides that a seat in the middle of all the BAD stuff is a good idea. hehe
