Mother's Day 2015

Being a mom is best job but it is also the hardest job. There are days that I think Oh yea, I have this under control and I am rocking the mom award. Then there are days that she is soooo sassy, all about her and being her little stubborn self. I then wonder if I am doing anything right. All I do know is that I am doing my very best.

I love her with my whole heart!!
She is my sunshine and my happy place!!
I am so thankful that God chose me to be her mommy.

I had a wonderful day full of love from my sweet little girl!!
She loves to draw things for me.

This is me and Sophie Clare. She kinda looks like a boy. I do know that is under armor that she has on.

This is Sophie Clare sweet little finger prints.
Thankful for such a sweet and thoughtful teacher to make this for us.
Sophie Clare brought it home on Friday but hid it and would not let me see it till Mother's day.

Jamie picked out the card and it is pretty cute!!
He also got me some other goodies.

I was able to spend all day with my mom!
Love her bunches!!

Fun day with Cousins

It is finally warm enough to get into bathing suits and have some water fun.  I had bought the girls a sprinkler to put on the trampoline and you would not believe it...........IT HAD A HOLE IN IT. But that did not stop the girls from having fun. I sprayed them with the water hose and used different settings. I think they enjoyed that more than they sprinkler anyways.

After some fun in the sun and playing, it was watermelon time. Sophie Clare has to eat everything on the side. She has a tooth on the bottom that just will not turn loose.

After we hung out a bit, the girls wanted to go back to the railroad tracks.  It has not rained in a while so the water was down enough to wade and do some walking down the creek.
It is so pretty down in there.

A super fun day is always had when all the girls are together!!

Her Climbing Tree

Sophie Clare has become so strong since school started. She has gained lots of upper body strength. It's amazing how strong she is!
We have a Crepe Murtle that is just the perfect size for her to climb and do tricks.

She climbs on it every day.

Love my little monkey!

Nerf Guns + Teeth

On Saturday, this sweet girl was playing with her Nerf gun.  The thing you pull back on to load it, popped her in her top right tooth. She did not cry but in her little eyes you could see that it hurt.  It was bleeding just a little  and by Sunday morning I noticed it has turned in color just a bit.  I knew that it could do that if the nerve to the tooth was damaged. I also am watching to make sure that it does not abscess.
It was already loose but not to much. I did call the dentist and they pulled up her panorex to see where her big girl teeth were. They are right there ready to come in.
So all it okay!
I am just not ready for those big girl teeth.

Weekend Fun

Our weekend fun usually starts on Friday when the girls all get together.  Thankfully it was pretty and they were able to stay outside.

I am so thankful for these 3 girls!!

We found out we have baby bluebirds.

The little Indian's decided they wanted to make a fire and  roast  some wienies

Oh then they went worm hunting.

They were playing Indians and that is why Sophie Clare has her ribbon on her head.
Oh her and those worms.
 Gross!

On Saturday, we had a bridal shower of a sweet sweet friend.

Jamie took a few pics with my phone before we left.

These 3 had the best time playing at the shower.

After the shower, we picked Jamie up and went to dinner.
Sometimes I just care nothing about waiting on food.

That why we love Jefferson's. It fast and yummy!!

Then Sophie Clare was in the mood to have her pic took and how can I ever say no to that!!

She also got herself a Big Nate book at Books-A-Million. She loves it, even though she can't read it yet. ;-)

We also went to the West Grove for a cook out with our church.
We had lots of fun and the weather was perfect. Can you believe I did not take the first pic.
