Today I am putting my focus on Missions. We have had several people in our church got to Ghana. Africa to help with the Jesse Brooks Foundation. Click here to read and learn more about the foundation.
Johnna felt led a while back that she needed to go. So, she will be leaving for Africa the Summer of 2013. If you or if you have known anyone that is involved with missions, you are probably aware of how expensive it is to go on a trip. Between now and next Summer she will be doing several fund raiser events to finance her trip. Since Johnna is a Master Stylist, she recently dedicated a day at her salon where all the money she took in went toward her trip. My mom is also painting several items for her to sell and all of the proceeds go toward Johnna's trip. Johnna has also made lotion bars that she is selling for $2.00. For those of you that are local, you can stop by M & M Video in Sardis to pick up a lotion bar or a hand painted item. She also has them available at her shop (Le Posh Salon) in downtown Gadsden. If you are interested in helping her go on the mission trip please let me know. I will be sharing this again and show a pictures of things she is selling.
