Show Us Where You Live Friday

It is that time again. Kelly is doing bonus rooms or laundry rooms. I do not have a bonus room so laundry room it is. You can see my laundry room from my kitchen and that drove me crazy for a while. It is like you have to keep it so clean, the clothes always done and put away. I did not say that is the way it is. HAHA I do do my best. My kitchen is a golden yellow so the red and white wallpaper is just what it needed. I know what your thinking....WALLPAPER. I know we are not in the 80s but I love it! I still can not believe that I am not tired of it.
I picked the chicken up at Kirklands and I got the boxes at TJ Maxx.

As you can see behind the lingerie chest, I need to put away Sophie Clare things.
This was my hope chest or what I called a hopeless chest when I lived at my mom and dads I thought I would never get married.lol Anyways, I got tired of it being just a plain wood. I decided to cover it like a bench and I love it! I added some padding and it makes for a great seat and or storage.
What an eye sore behind the shutter, the ugly hot water heater. I am looking for something to hang above the bench.
A small 3 drawer chest that needs a home somewhere other than the laundry room.
I forgot to upload the pic of my window treatment. It is the yellow and red toile....just a straight valance.
Well I hope you enjoyed todays room!
Have a great day!

Funny! I have the same washer and drier...with an IDENTICAL 3 drawer chest in that exact same spot! :)

IF the chest is small enough could you flip it upside down and put it on the wall above your chest.? That way you'd have something big there and the now top that was the bottom would be a shelf with a rim to put things on. You could also take out a drawer or two and put in baskets instead. Just a thought. I think your laundry room is bright and sunny - a great place to be to do a yuckie chore :)
