An Earthquake

This morning I was woke up by the windows rattling and the house shaking. I thought we were having an earthquake. I got up and Sophie Clare was still asleep, I could not believe it. I am guess that the vibrating kept her asleep. I looked out the window and they were working on the road that goes right beside my house......it is the road that we walk all the time. They seem to think that they need to pave it. They should have asked me and I would have told them that it was fine the way it was. You see, they are going to pave it with gravel......gotta love county roads. Right now it is a T-TOTAL mess. They have scraped it down to dirt, I just hope they finish it SOON!!

Since they were working on the roads, we mainly stayed in the house. We did some laundry, played, napped, and watched a movie. If you wondering what movie....I always dvr the family channel movies and it was Labor Pains......it was ok but nothing to write home about.
I had laid Sophie Clare down for a nap and when I went to check on her, this is what I found.........................

She has crawled more today than any other day. She noticed that you can sit in the front door and watch the kitty cats. That was her highlight of the day. It was so cute, she would put her hand on the window and the cat would rub up against it. They even would paw at her moving.

We had to have a bath in the middle of the day. WHY?? Well, I was sitting at the table cutting out pictures for Sunday School and Sophie Clare was sitting at my feet playing. You know how you can feel someone staring at you, I looked down and she was looking up at me with spit up running down her chin and she had played in it. YUCKO! After her bath we headed to my bedroom, she loves to play on the bed. I thought it would be a good time to take some pics.

That is about it for us today!!
Big hugs from me and Sophie Clare!!

Okay, so that is totally crazy because we DID have an earthquake here in Arizona yesterday! I thought you were going to say there was one where you are, too! Then I would cue the Twilight Zone music.

Your little bitty girl is adorable as ever!
